| Formed in 2002, Stonehouse Rentals provides quality and affordable residential homes and apartments for residents of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Although our primary focus is Lake Superior State University students, we offer something for everyone. Stonehouse Rentals currently owns and operates 11 single family homes and three apartment buildings totaling 18 units in Sault Ste. Marie. Most of our units are located directly across the street from campus. Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, our company consists of four partners including Karen and Tony Anthony and Alexandra and Mark Van Doren. Alexandra was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. Stonehouse Rentals is dedicated to providing timely service for our residents. Although we try to complete the small repair work ourselves, Stonehouse Rentals uses only licensed and insured contractors for the major work including roofing, electrical, plumbing and heating projects. We also conduct daily drive-by inspections and address any issues immediately.
Stonehouse Rentals wants our rental units to look and feel like home. For example, we provide all window treatments at no cost and upgrades to each unit are routinely conducted. Stonehouse Rentals provides plowing on most homes and lawn care for the apartment buildings. For those of you with a green thumb, we invite you to add to the landscaping of your home with things like flowers or even a garden.
